Environmentally friendly wildlife gifts
Wildlife World was set up in the West Country by Eva and Norman Sellers in 1995. It followed a lifelong interest in the environment and native wildlife. Early products included the pollinating bee log, bird seed sunflower and bird feeder.
Wildlife World's workshop now covers 12,000 sq ft near Tetbury in Gloucestershire and their commitment to the environment remains stronger than ever. Sustainable, ecological green products is their passion and they make wonderful wooden anniversary gifts
Wildlife World is a member of an FSC Chain Of Custody Group and has been responsible for encouraging several sawmills and suppliers to become certified. They have also changed their electricity supply to NPower Juice Clean and have invested in a major tree planting scheme in Devon with Moor Trees, a Charity dedicated to the restoration of broadleaved native woodland in and around Dartmoor.
Wildlife World has also pioneered the use of recycled packaging. They commissioned the building of an industrial machine, known as the Uley Tiger, which converts waste cardboard into a strong, flexible, packing material. One of their most recent products is the home beehive which is born out of Norman's new passion of beekeeping.
