Beautiful brushes handmade by people with visual impairments

Iris Handverk

Iris Hantverk employs visually impaired craftsmen to make a wonderful range of brushes at its factory in Sweden. Brushes have been made there using many of the same techniques for over 100 years. Their beautiful range of products includes a patio broombath brushnail brush and vegetable brush, all made from natural materials.

The brushes feel good to hold and naturally give a steady grip, whether you are scrubbing new potatoes or cleaning your finger nails.

Iris Hantverk also thinks it is important that the brushes are pleasing to the eye. Top designers are employed to ensure this.

If you care for your brushes well, they will age beautifully. They are easy to clean with washing up liquid and warm water. Hang them or stand them on the bristles to keep the wood from splitting.
