Enthusiastic carpenter with a passion for parrots
Ken started out his working life as a heating and plumbing engineer, but for the last 30 years his passion has been carpentry, making rabbit hutches, averies and hen coops. Seed trays and vegetable racks are Ken's latest products, all made from waste wood donated by local builders.
Ken is also an avid collector. He has an impressive collection of parrots, including macaws, African greys, cockatoos, cockatiels and budgies, and an even more impressive collection of Terry Pratchett memorabilia. His house is an Aladins cave of books, characters, buildings and even a piece of the film set from the Colour of Magic. Its not just for Ken to enjoy though. He has 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren!
