Annette Van Ryhsen

Designer of hand painted abstract deckchair fabric

Annette Van Ryhsen is a self-educated artist who has a passion for painting vintage linen. Her work is exhibited every year in the Paris left bank, at the gallery Nicolas Deman, and she has received commissions for installations from several French cities.

Since 2011 Annette has been working with her film producer daughter Ana Deman at their studio in Vendee on the French Atlantic coast.  Their busimness is named ANA (A Nos Amours). Ana focusses on product design and Annette on painting. They work as much as possible with natural and recycled materials and take their inspiration from the gardens in the Vendee.

Each of the deckchair slings is hand painted, numbered and signed by Annette.
