This hammock chair is made in El Salvador from natural organic cotton. Very stylish and very comfortable. The best hammock if you don't have the space for a traditional hammock.
The hammock chair can be hung from a branch, ceiling joist or arbour and needs a height of at least 2.2m, plus 1m behind to give you room to spin.
It has a load capacity of 110kg and can be ordered with a hammock chair fixing that includes a ball mounted hook, carabiner, chain and screws, that gives a drop of up to 78cm.

Luxury cotton’s true cost is an important consideration for us. 100% cotton sounds natural and pure, but if the cotton is not organic then the cotton can by anything but. Conventional cotton production uses vast amounts of pesticides, which can have devastating consequences for the environment and for the cotton pickers, many of whom can be children. The WTO estimates 20,000 deaths and 3 million chronic health problems each year are the result of the use of agricultural pesticides in developing countries.
By contrast organic cotton farmers use natural pesticides like chili and garlic which keep pests off the crops but not their natural predators. And these pesticides are not harmful to the workers and invariably cost less, so the farmers are less indebted to the fertilizer manufacturers. Which is why wherever possible we source products made from organic cotton.
