Dibbing means different things to different people. As a boy it meant dipping a stick of liquorice into a sherbet dib dab. For my sister it meant something in the Brownies, which I have never quite fathomed. For vegetable gardeners dibbing is just as important. To make a hole the correct depth without the soil collapsing is what every gardener aspires to. Use this dibber when the ground is damp and your holes will be the envy of the allotment.
