Something the Edwardians were very good at was making the most of the British summer. Deckchairs filled parks and beaches and colourful sun shades were popular in private gardens, providing a tempting haven for two people to take tea on the lawn (as well as something for the neighbours to admire). The bright canvas hood is fitted over a collapsible beech frame. There are ties at the corners to secure the canvas to the frame and a matching canvas bag for storage of the hood. It can be put up or packed away in a couple of minutes, which is handy as it is not weatherproof so should be brought in on wet or windy days.

The sun shade is 180cm wide, 110cm deep and 175cm tall at the front. The colourway is yellow and gold, with lime green, red, pink and blue stripes. 100% cotton.
