This tree trunk stool is incredible. It arrives in an attractive carrying case, takes 3 minutes to assemble and even though it is made from cardboard it can withstand a weight of 200kg (which is 2.5 times the weight of an average man!). A brilliant piece of sustainable Dutch design, recently shortlisted for Kevin McCloud's Green Heroes

Very high quality printing gives the stool a stunning photo finish. If you count the rings we reckon the tree is over 100 years old!

Intended to be used as a stool or side table, but you may well think of other uses. We use ours as a step to reach high shelves.
