During the early summer you may want to extend your hive to give the queen more space to lay eggs and allow more space for honey. This can also decrease the chance of swarming.

This is the outer layer to extend the home beehive. Inside you will need standard WBC supers which can be obtained from most beehive suppliers, either in kit form or ready made. One outer layer is needed for each super.
