These lanterns have had so many lives we could have called them oil can lanterns or biscuit tin lanterns. We understand they started out life in India, before having the glass panels added in Indonesia, but no one is sure. They don’t even have to be used as lanterns, its just how we like to use them.

No two lanterns are the same. Some have clear writing, some have worn writing and some have no writing at all. But they all have a story to tell.
