  • Description

Garden mint is a versatile herb, used for mint sauce or to garnish new potatoes.

Nature's remedy: Mint has a remarkable reputation with indigestion, for calming nerves and recurring sickness. Many herbalists claim it can be used against a migraine, by adding 1 cup of boiling water over 1 tablespoon of freshly chopped mint leaves and leaving to stand for 30 minutes. Take a teaspoon at a time.

Eco-friendly: This herb plant is grown in peat free compost in a biodegradable pot made from waste coir with natural latex.

Cooking: The ideal herb to cook with lamb - for an unusual sauce mix with honey and lemon juice. Add to boiled new potatoes, peas or garnish summer drinks.

Companion plant: Plant mint close to all brassicas and it will repel the Cabbage White Butterfly; a sprig or two in your wardrobe will keep moths out of your clothes.
