  • Description

This aromatic oregano produces white flowers in summer and autumn and are very popular with bees and butterflies, the buds can be used for flavouring after they have been gently dried. Use the pungent leaves fresh or dry for flavouring Mexican Dishes.

Oregano gives good ground cover. The trailing habit means that it is useful for path edging and also in containers. They like good sunlight and well-drained soil.

Companion plant: Plant Oregano among broccoli to repel the Cabbage Butterfly

Eco-friendly: This plant has been grown in peat free compost in a biodegradabe pot made from waste coir with natural latex.

Handmade from ethically sourced natural waste materials, these herbs in hairy pots produce a superior root system and reduce the use and disposal problems of plastic pots.

The coir fibres used in the pot construction are a waste product of the coconut industry and they are bonded together using latex from the local rubber trees in Sri Lanka.

Each pot is individually hand crafted and dried in the sun.

    Height: 30cm x 45cm
