Putting a draught excluder at the foot of a door is a good way to reduce draughts. This colourful woollen sausage will do precisely that.
The draught excluders are made for us in Wales from 'shoddy' wool, which is the new wool left over from the production of virgin wool blankets. Colourways vary so if you have a colour preference please add a note at the top of this page.
As well as being made from recycled wool each draught excluder is stuffed with recycled fabrics, so its a very eco friendly product. And it will help reduce your heating bills.
    80cm x 16cm

The potential energy savings from reducing drafts in a home ranges from 5% to 30% per year. Here are some tips:

On the outside of your house, inspect all areas where two different building materials meet, including:

    - All exterior corners
    - Outdoor water faucets
    - Where siding and chimneys meet
    - Areas where the foundation and the bottom of exterior brick or siding meet.

Inside your home, inspect around the following areas for any cracks and gaps that could cause air leaks:
    Electrical outlets
    Switch plates
    Door and window frames
    Electrical and gas service entrances
    Baseboards
    Weather stripping around doors
    Fireplace dampers
    Attic hatches
    Wall- or window-mounted air conditioners.
    Cable TV and phone lines
Where dryer vents pass through walls
    Vents and fans.
