  • Description

There was a time when vegetables came in a wide variety of colours, each with their own distinctive flavour. Now all the supermarkets will offer you is red tomatoes, orange carrots and purple beetroot. How boring!

This a chance to grow something more unusual in your vegetable garden or allotment. Each box contains four packets of tried and tested traditional seed varieties and each variety is a different colour. Your salads will look wonderful!

    The beetroot varieties are:
    - Golden beetroot
    - Detroit beetroot
    - Blankoma beetroot
    - Chioggia beetroot (same colour on the outside as Detroit, but different on the inside).

From time to time there may be a shortage of any particular variety so we may need to substitute.
